Recipes: chain Steadyline Data tools

Each recipe chains public Steadyline Data tools on Apify Store. Every step is pay-per-event, so a recipe costs only what you process (plus Apify's small per-run start fee and any platform usage your Apify plan bills).

Run the steps by hand in Apify Console, chain them in Zapier, Make or n8n (Apify "Run Actor" + "Get dataset items"), or let an AI agent do it through Apify's MCP server with the all-tools URL.

1. Tech-targeted B2B lead list (e.g. "Shopify stores using Klaviyo")

  1. Tech Stack Detector: input {"domains": [...your 1,000 candidate domains...]}. Keep rows where technologies[].name includes your target (e.g. Shopify, HubSpot, Klaviyo).
  2. Website Contact Extractor: input {"startUrls": [<kept domains>], "followContactPages": true}. You get public business emails, phones, social links and the contact page.
  3. Email Deliverability Checker: input {"emails": [<all emails from step 2>]}. Drop verdict = undeliverable and disposable: true, review risky, flag role: true addresses. Cost for 1,000 domains → ~300 matches → ~450 emails: $2.00 + $0.60 + $0.23 ≈ $2.83. Use B2B contact points lawfully (GDPR/CAN-SPAM; see each README's acceptable-use section).

2. Map a site, then profile it (agency / sales research)

  1. Site Discovery {"domains": ["example.com"], "maxUrls": 200}: sitemaps, robots.txt, RSS feeds, llms.txt, URL count. A site's size and content cadence (lastmod) qualify the lead.
  2. Tech Stack Detector on the same domains: CMS, analytics, ecommerce, hosting, email provider.
  3. Website Contact Extractor with the contact/about URLs found in step 1 (or just the domain): business contact points. Cost per domain: about $0.002 + $0.002 + $0.002 = $0.006 (plus $0.0003 per sitemap URL you choose to export).

3. Hiring-signal prospecting ("companies hiring a Head of RevOps this week")

  1. ATS Jobs Feed {"companies": [...target company domains or board URLs...], "keywords": ["revops", "salesforce"], "deltaMode": true} on a daily Apify Schedule. Only new/changed jobs are emitted.
  2. For companies with new matching roles, run Tech Stack Detector on their domain (what they use today).
  3. Website Contact Extractor for the company's public contact page. Cost: $0.002 per new job, $0.0005 per unchanged job, then $0.004 per company enriched.

4. Domain due diligence / vendor check

  1. Domain Intel: registrar, domain age, expiry, DNS, SSL expiry/issuer, SPF/DMARC, mail provider, health score.
  2. Tech Stack Detector: what the site runs on.
  3. Website Screenshot: a dated visual record of the homepage. Cost per domain: $0.001 + $0.002 + $0.002 = $0.005.

5. Email list hygiene before you pay for SMTP verification

  1. Email Deliverability Checker on the whole list: syntax, MX, disposable/free/role, typo suggestions (gmial.com → gmail.com). $0.50 per 1,000 emails.
  2. Domain Intel on the distinct company domains that remain: SPF/DMARC policy and mail provider (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365...). $1 per 1,000 domains. Send only the survivors to a paid SMTP verifier.

6. Website or docs → RAG knowledge base

  1. Site Discovery {"domains": ["docs.example.com"], "includePatterns": ["/docs/"], "maxUrls": 500} returns every sitemap URL (and llms.txt if the site has one).
  2. PDF & Document to Markdown for URLs ending in .pdf/.docx: {"startUrls": [{"url": "..."}], "chunkSize": 1500} gives RAG-ready chunks.
  3. HTTP Request Runner with "outputMarkdown": true for the HTML pages. Cost for 500 URLs (50 PDFs, 450 pages): $0.15 + $0.10 + $0.36 ≈ $0.61.

7. Competitor monitoring pack (weekly)

  1. Site Discovery {"domains": ["competitor.com"], "lastmodSince": "<7 days ago>"}: pages they added or changed this week.
  2. Website Screenshot of those pages (pricing, product pages): visual diff archive.
  3. ATS Jobs Feed in delta mode on the competitor's job board: new roles reveal strategy.

8. App publisher research

  1. App Store Reviews {"apps": [...], "maxReviewsPerApp": 200}: ratings, review text, version history and developerWebsite.
  2. Feed developerWebsite into Tech Stack Detector, Domain Intel or Website Contact Extractor to profile the publisher. Good for agencies pitching ASO/review-management services, and for competitive product research.

9. API monitoring and bulk API jobs

Run a list of API/health URLs every hour with retries and JSONPath extraction; screenshot status pages that return errors.

10. Newly funded companies → contacts, domain age and tech stack

  1. Funded Companies (SEC Form D) {"lastNDays": 7, "industries": ["Technology"], "minAmountSold": 500000, "maxResults": 300}: companies that just filed a Form D, with amount raised, industry, location and filing link. A website is found for roughly 10–30% of rows (websiteDomain).
  2. Pass the websiteDomain values to Website Contact Extractor (startUrls) for public business emails, phones and social profiles.
  3. Run Domain Intel on the same domains for domain age (RDAP), DNS, SSL, SPF and DMARC. A brand-new domain plus a fresh Form D is a strong "new startup" signal.
  4. Run Tech Stack Detector to see the CMS, analytics, payments and other tools they use. Cost: $0.002 per funded company, then about $0.002 + $0.001 + $0.002 per enriched domain.
